Modify Shape Manipulation Command

This command is designed to modify a common vertex point joining two or more existing shape features and is activated via the key-in: Ptopo modify

You select (normally by snapping to an existing corner) a common vertex point to modify. You may then drag it about having the proposed altered polygons dynamically displayed while dragging. You can accept the proposed alteration by pressing a data point. You may reject the proposed alteration by pressing reset.

All features must be of the same type and participate in the same persisted topology layer.

The candidate destination point may not cross an existing edge boundary as this is a violation of Oracle's topology rules. If the user attempts to define a candidate destination point beyond that which can be successfully modified, a shatter point is displayed on the violated edge boundary at the point which the violation occurs.

When you successfully accept the proposed modification, the existing shape features are modified in the file.
